Ghana's fuel market is deregulated: each oil marketing company (OMC) sets its own pump price. The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) reviews indicative prices in pricing windows that open around the 1st and 16th of each month, which is why pump prices usually change twice a month.
Prices differ between stations because OMCs balance fuel quality additives, station networks and margins differently. Indigenous OMCs such as Star Oil often price close to the NPA minimum, while international brands like Shell and TotalEnergies typically charge more for premium blends. Prices can also move mid-window when the government adjusts fuel taxes or margins.
Liflio checks official OMC prices every pricing window and records the change from the previous window, so the arrows above show whether a station's price went up or down.
Prices are ex-pump prices per litre in Ghana cedis (GH₵), gathered from official OMC price announcements and effective 4 August 2026. Individual stations may vary slightly. See each brand's page for station locations and current deals.
