1. Getting around

The top navigation gives you the main sections:

• Home — a mix of the latest flyers, deals and coupons.
• Flyers (/flyers) — browse retailer catalogues.
• Coupons (/coupons) — coupon codes and scannable barcodes.
• Promotions (/promotions) — current price-drop deals.
• In-store (/in-store) — offers near you, on a map.

On a phone, a bottom navigation bar gives you quick access to the same key areas, and a menu button opens the full list.

You can use almost everything below without an account. Signing in unlocks saving (favourites, shopping list), loyalty cards, alerts and personalised recommendations.

2. Installing the app (PWA)

Liflio is a Progressive Web App — you can install it like a native app, with a home-screen icon and offline shell.

Android (Chrome):

1. Open liflio.com.gh in Chrome.
2. Tap the Install prompt at the bottom, or open the ⋮ menu → Install app / Add to Home screen.
3. Confirm. Liflio now appears on your home screen.

iPhone / iPad (Safari):

1. Open the site in Safari (installation only works in Safari, not in in-app browsers like Facebook or Instagram).
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
3. Choose Add to Home Screen → Add.
4. If you opened Liflio from inside another app, use "Open in Safari" first, or copy the link and paste it into Safari.

Once installed, launch Liflio from its icon for a full-screen, app-like experience.

3. Creating an account & signing in

You only need an account to save and personalise. Browsing is open to everyone.

Register:

1. Go to Register (/register) or tap the account icon → Sign up.
2. Enter your details (name, email, and a password).
3. Confirm any one-time code (OTP) sent to you if prompted.
4. You're in — you'll land on your dashboard.

Sign in:

1. Go to Login (/login).
2. Enter your email and password, or use Sign in with Google for one-tap access.
3. If you use a one-time code, enter the code from your email/SMS.

Forgot your password? On the login page choose Forgot password, enter your email, and follow the reset link.

Security note: Liflio protects sign-in with rate limiting and one-time-code lockouts after repeated wrong attempts. If you get temporarily locked out, wait a few minutes and try again.

4. Browsing catalogues / flyers

Flyers are the weekly retailer catalogues (Melcom, Shoprite, Game, MaxMart and more).

1. Open Flyers (/flyers).
2. Use the timing tabs to switch between current and upcoming catalogues.
3. Filter by category or city to narrow the list (see Searching & filtering).
4. Tap a catalogue to open the flipbook viewer.

Inside the flipbook viewer:

• Swipe or use the arrows to turn pages.
• Pinch or use the zoom control to read the fine print.
• Some catalogues are interactive — tappable spots on a product take you straight to that offer.
• Tap the ♥ heart to save the catalogue to your favourites (sign-in required).

5. Finding & using coupons

The Coupons page (/coupons) has two kinds of coupons:

• Code coupons — a promo code you copy and paste at checkout.
• Barcode coupons — a scannable barcode you show in-store.

Browse & filter:

1. Open Coupons (/coupons).
2. Use the current / upcoming tabs and the category/city filters.
3. Featured coupons appear at the top; the full list follows below.

Use a code coupon:

1. Tap the coupon to open its details.
2. Tap the code to copy it (you'll see a confirmation).
3. Paste it in the retailer's checkout field.

Use a barcode coupon:

1. Open the coupon detail page.
2. Show the on-screen barcode at the till to be scanned, or copy the code if one is shown.
3. Check the valid-until date and the terms (tap Terms & conditions).

Save a coupon: Tap the ♥ heart on the card or on the detail page. When saved, the heart turns red. Saved coupons appear in Favourites. (You must be signed in; otherwise the heart takes you to the login page.)

6. Deals / promotions

Promotions (/promotions) are current price-drop deals from retailers.

1. Open Promotions (/promotions).
2. Filter by category, city, or timing.
3. Tap a deal to see the product, the discount, the original vs sale price, and the validity dates.
4. Tap ♥ to save it to favourites.

7. Searching & filtering

Most listing pages (flyers, coupons, promotions) share the same controls:

• Search bar — type a product, brand or keyword; results update as you type.
• Category — filter by department (Groceries, Beauty, Clothing, etc.).
• City — show offers relevant to your location.
• Timing tabs — Current vs Upcoming offers.

Combine filters to zero in — e.g. current + Beauty + your city. Clear a filter by choosing its "All" option again.

8. In-store offers & the store map

In-store (/in-store) shows offers you can redeem in physical shops, plotted on a map.

1. Open In-store (/in-store).
2. Allow location access (optional) to centre the map near you.
3. Tap a map pin or a card to see the store's current offers.
4. Open an offer for full details, opening hours and directions.

9. Comparing prices

(Signed-in — under Shopping Tools in your dashboard.)

Compare prices (/price-comparisons) shows the same product across several stores so you can spot the best deal.

1. Open your dashboard → Shopping Tools → Compare prices.
2. Search a product, or filter by store and category.
3. Each card shows a price table per store; the cheapest is highlighted with a crown, with the price difference beside the others.
4. Sort by price, store or discount using the sort buttons.
5. Tap Create alert on a product to be notified when its price drops (see below), or the chart icon to view its price history.

Create a price alert:

1. Tap Create alert on a product.
2. Set a target price and/or target discount %.
3. Choose what to be notified about (price drop, new discount, stock change) and how often.
4. Save. Manage or delete alerts from the same page; the 🔔 bell shows your notifications.

10. Saving favourites

(Signed-in.) Anything with a ♥ heart can be saved — flyers, coupons and deals — and everything you save lands in My Favourites (/mes-favoris).

Save / unsave: Tap the heart on any card or detail page. Saved = red heart. Tap again to remove.

In My Favourites you can:

• See every saved item as a card, each tagged with its type badge — Coupon, Deal or Catalogue — so you know what it is at a glance.
• Filter by type using the chips at the top: All / Coupons / Deals / Catalogues, each with a live count.
• Filter by status with the All · Active · Expired toggle to hide stale offers or review the ones about to disappear.
• Tap any card to open the offer (it routes to the correct page for its type).
• Remove a favourite with its heart — the card disappears and your filter stays put.

11. Your shopping list

Shopping list (/ma-liste) helps you plan a shop.

1. Open Shopping list from the dashboard.
2. Create a list (give it a name), or open an existing one.
3. Add products to a list — from the list screen, or via "add to list" on offers where available.
4. Tick items off as you shop; search and sort your lists (by last modified, name or date) and filter All / Mine / Shared.

Guests can start a quick list too, but sign in to keep it across devices.

12. Loyalty cards

Loyalty cards (/cartes-fidelite) keeps all your store loyalty cards in one place — no more fumbling for plastic at the till.

1. Open Loyalty cards from the dashboard.
2. Tap Add a card.
3. Enter the store/brand, your card number, and choose the barcode format (CODE128, EAN-13, QR, CODE39).
4. Save. Liflio generates a scannable barcode for the till.

For each card you can track points and total savings, and see your next reward threshold. Tap a card to view its big scannable barcode and stats. Amounts are shown in GH₵.

13. Rewards

Rewards (/mes-recompenses) is where private, personalised reward codes appear — for example, a discount you earned by leaving a review.

1. Open Rewards from the dashboard.
2. See any reward codes issued to you, with how to use them and their status.
3. Some rewards unlock by sharing — follow the on-screen prompt to reveal the code.

Rewards are matched to your account (by email), so they're private to you.

14. Recommended coupons

(Signed-in — Shopping Tools → Recommended coupons, /recommended-coupons.)

A personalised shortlist of coupons picked for you based on your preferences and activity.

1. Open Recommended coupons.
2. Search or filter by category, store, and sort (recommended, price, expiry, popular).
3. Toggle show expired / show used if you want the full picture.
4. Tap ♥ to favourite a coupon, or Use coupon to redeem it (this records your redemption so you don't double-use it).

If personalised picks aren't available yet, you'll see popular coupons instead — the page always loads quickly.

15. Brand alerts

(Signed-in — Shopping Tools → Brand alerts, /brand-alerts.)

Follow your favourite brands and get notified about their new products, price changes, deals and stock.

Create an alert:

1. Open Brand alerts and tap New alert.
2. Choose a brand.
3. Pick which notifications you want (new products, price changes, deals, stock changes).
4. Optionally set a minimum discount % and maximum price.
5. Pick the categories you care about (tap the pills to select).
6. Save.

Manage alerts: Each alert card has a switch to pause/activate it, a "view deals" button, and a delete button. The 🔔 bell shows your alert notifications; "Current deals" below lists active offers from the brands you follow.

16. Preferences & notifications

Preferences (/preferences) tunes what Liflio shows and sends you.

1. Open Preferences from the dashboard.
2. Set your favourite stores, categories, price range and location preferences.
3. Save — your home page and Recommended coupons adapt accordingly.

Push notifications: Allow notifications when prompted (or from your browser settings) to receive deal alerts — a daily, personalised nudge based on your preferences, favourites and lists. You can also receive price and brand alerts you set up in the Shopping Tools.

17. Spin to win

Some campaigns include a Spin-to-Win game, usually reached by scanning a QR code in-store or in a catalogue.

1. Scan the campaign QR code with your phone; it opens the game (/jouer/…).
2. Tap Spin and watch the wheel.
3. If you win, you'll get a prize code (often shown as a QR/code to redeem in-store).
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to claim your prize before it expires.

18. Your dashboard & profile

After signing in you get a personal dashboard with a sidebar grouped into:

• My account — profile, view the public site.
• My shopping — shopping list, loyalty cards.
• Shopping tools — recommended coupons, compare prices, brand alerts.
• Preferences, Favourites, Rewards.

Update your name, email and password from your profile. Use Log out at the bottom of the sidebar when you're done. On mobile, the sidebar opens from the menu button.

19. For businesses (posting offers)

Retailers and brands can publish their own offers via a business account.

1. Register a business (/business-register) or sign in (/business-login).
2. Complete your business profile (/profile) — brand details, logo, branches.
3. Add offers from the business dashboard:
   • Catalogue / flyer — upload catalogue pages.
   • Coupon — a code coupon.
   • Barcode — a scannable coupon.
   • Promotion / deal — a price-drop offer.
4. Set validity dates, categories, city and terms, then publish.
5. Track performance (views, saves, scans, redemptions) and manage rewards and spin campaigns from the business area.

20. Tips & FAQ

Do I need an account? No — browsing flyers, coupons, deals and the map is open to all. An account adds saving, lists, loyalty cards, alerts and recommendations.

Why is the heart taking me to a login page? You're signed out. Sign in and the heart will save the item (and turn red) instead.

A coupon says expired. Offers have validity dates; expired ones are marked and eventually removed. Use the Active filter in Favourites to hide them.

Prices/currency look wrong. liflio.com.gh shows GH₵; liflio.fr shows €. Make sure you're on the right site for your country.

The app won't install on iPhone. Installation only works in Safari — not inside in-app browsers. Open the site in Safari, then Share → Add to Home Screen.

Something isn't loading. Pull to refresh, or fully reload the page. If a saved item link fails, it may have been removed by the retailer.
